Carbon

Shipment calculator

Add each leg of the journey. Distances come from the road network and shipping lanes unless you enter your own.

New here? How this works

You will need: The weight of the goods and where they travel from and to. Waybills, CMRs or bills of lading have both.

  1. Enter the weight of the cargo in kilograms.
  2. Pick the transport type (road, sea, air or rail) and type the start and end places. Start typing a city, port or airport and choose it from the list. The distance is filled in for you.
  3. Goods change vehicle on the way? Use “Add leg” for each part of the trip.
  4. Press Calculate. You get a total, a breakdown and the source of every factor. Save or print it as a report.

Example values are already filled in. Press Calculate once to see what a result looks like, then replace them with your own.
