CBAM data for Türkiye-based exporters

If you sell steel, aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen or electricity into the EU, your importer needs the emissions embedded in your goods. TurkPass Carbon turns your plant data into that data pack, using Türkiye’s own factors where they exist.

Who asks you for this

  • Your EU importer, who must report embedded emissions for goods in the CBAM scope. Since the definitive period began on 1 January 2026, the data they use has financial consequences for them.
  • Without your actual data, the importer must fall back on the Commission’s default values, which carry a mark-up. Real installation data can be lower.

What the calculator does

  • Follows the calculation method of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2547: fuels, process materials, carbonates, mass balance, heat, waste gases, electricity, and precursors.
  • Uses the standard fuel and process factors published in that regulation, and Türkiye’s National Inventory fuel factors where you choose them.
  • Uses the Ministry of Energy’s official grid emission factors (0.469 distribution-connected, 0.436 transmission-connected tCO₂e/MWh, 2023 period) for electricity.
  • Falls back to the Commission’s default values for Türkiye, with the regulation’s mark-ups, for precursors you cannot measure.

What you get

  • Direct, indirect and precursor emissions per tonne of product, with every factor named next to the number.
  • A data pack shaped like the information the regulation asks the operator to provide (Annex IV), as print, CSV and JSON, to share with your importer or verifier.
  • The same figures through the API or bulk upload if you have many products.

What this is not

It is a calculation and data-preparation tool. It does not file declarations, replace a verifier, or cover every production route: combined heat and power attribution and some sector-specific rules are not built yet. Ask your importer and verifier which data they accept before you rely on it.
