You will need: Your fuel and electricity use for one period. Utility bills and fuel invoices show the amounts.
- Choose what you used: diesel, natural gas, electricity and so on.
- Type the amount in the unit shown next to the box (litres, m³, kWh).
- More than one source? Add another row.
- Press Calculate. You get a total, a breakdown and the source of every factor. Save or print it as a report.

Reporting period (year)
The GHG Protocol asks companies to report Scope 2 both ways where possible. Location-based uses the Türkiye Ministry of Energy’s official consumption-point grid factors (2023). Market-based needs your supplier's or the residual-mix factor, which no open source provides for you.
