Carbon

Product carbon footprint

Cradle-to-gate footprint per unit of product from materials, factory energy and inbound transport.

New here? How this works

You will need: For one product: how many units you made, the materials and their weights, and the factory energy used in the same period. The bill of materials and utility bills have these.

  1. Enter how many units you produced in the period and name the product.
  2. Add the materials used in that period (steel, plastic, paper...) and their total weight.
  3. Add the factory energy and any inbound transport for the same period.
  4. Press Calculate: you get the footprint per unit.

Example values are already filled in. Press Calculate once to see what a result looks like, then replace them with your own.
